hip prosthesis

Buttock prosthesis or buttock augmentation is a surgical operation that is performed to correct deformities and congenital abnormalities of the hips or the hip joint area (gluteal area). Buttock prosthesis surgery is performed in order to tighten and correct the natural shape of the buttock in people who are not satisfied with the shape and size of their buttock region. Buttock augmentation surgery is performed to add volume and roundness to the buttock in people who have flat or small buttocks.
With the help of buttock augmentation, the appearance of your hips and pelvis will look better and you will enhance the beauty of your body by shaping your hips. This practice is very important for those who care about their fitness because it increases self-confidence in a person.

The best candidates for hip replacement surgery

Suitable candidates for hip enlargement surgery are women and men who want to increase the prominence of their hips and improve its shape.

The important thing to remember is that this procedure, like liposuction, is not suitable for solving the problem of overweight patients. In fact, only patients who have an ideal weight and within a healthy weight range can perform this surgery to shape the areas of their hips that cannot be corrected through exercise and diet. For example, this procedure is performed to shape and correct the shape of the lower back and upper hips.
There are 3 groups of hip cosmetic surgeries;

  • Buttock reduction: for patients who complain of fat buttocks.
  • Buttock augmentation: For patients who want to increase the volume of the buttock.
  • Buttock lift: for patients who suffer from loose buttock skin due to weight loss.

Types of prostheses

Hip prostheses are available in many different shapes and sizes so that each patient can choose the right type of prosthesis based on his body shape and the goals he intends to perform this procedure. These prostheses are made of a soft material called silicone, which gives them softness, formability and a completely natural feeling. The doctor will help you to choose the best type of prosthesis suitable for you and by using it you can achieve the best results you want. Hip prosthesis consists of silicone layers and is completely flexible, and it has been tried to be designed completely natural and similar to the natural hip. There are different prostheses in the hip prosthesis, the choice of which depends on the opinion of the plastic surgeon, Dr. Amir Daryani.

Surgical method and procedure

To perform the buttock augmentation, incisions of 2.5 mm width are made in places of the buttock that are hidden in appearance. Then, the cannula or the tube-shaped instrument belonging to the liposuction device is inserted into the buttock tissue through these incisions to remove excess fat from this area and shape the buttock to some extent. Fats that are removed at this stage are prepared during a specialized process and then re-injected into the buttock muscles. Buttock augmentation through prosthetic implantation can be done to increase the volume of the buttock from a very small amount to a very large amount. After performing this surgery, your hips will have a completely natural and well-shaped appearance.

Hip prosthesis cost
