Liposuction
Liposuction is considered a cosmetic plastic surgery and is the most effective method for defatting the body and reducing local obesity. Liposuction is a process that removes extra fat from the body with the help of suction and makes a person fit. The main purpose of liposuction is not to lose weight and treat obesity in a person, but it is used to remove fat from some different parts of the body that have not been achieved through exercise and diet. The right age for liposuction

How is liposuction surgery performed?
At first, after anesthesia or general anesthesia of the person, incisions of 3 to 4 mm are made on the desired area for fat removal. After that, by means of narrow metal tubes called cannula and suction device, fats are deeply removed and drained. Dr. Amir Dariani, due to his brilliant history in this field, usually makes incisions in places where the scar is not visible.
Then, a foam layer is placed on the treatment area, which is fixed in place by a pressure bandage. The time required for the operation depends on the treated area and the amount of fat removed. But it takes 1 to 4 hours in general.
In this operation, the plastic surgery specialist accesses the fat in the desired area after making incisions. Then, using tubes called cannulas, they drain the body fat. A very important point, in this procedure, the skin cracks created on the body are not removed.
Liposuction is an outpatient procedure that can be performed in a beauty clinic or hospital and generally does not require hospitalization except in cases where the amount of fat removed is large.
Types of liposuction methods
-
- through local anesthesia
As you know, anesthesia is performed before the liposuction procedure. In this procedure, anesthetic solution is first injected into the fat tissues of the parts of the body that must be removed. If more areas of the body are subjected to liposuction, general anesthesia is used to relax the patient more. - through a laser
In this method of liposuction, the energy of laser waves is used to melt fat cells. After melting the cells, they are removed from the operation site through vacuum suction.
One of the advantages of the liposuction method compared to other liposuction methods is that in this method, the energy of the laser waves stimulates the production of collagen in the tissues. The creation of collagen helps to increase the strength of the skin tissue and prevent it from sagging after liposuction. Collagen is a fibrous protein that helps maintain the structure of the skin.
