Dr. Amir Daryani
Specialist in plastic surgery
I am Amir Daryani. I was born in the city of Tabriz. After receiving an experimental diploma from the National Organization for the Development of Brilliant Talents in Tabriz in 1377, I entered Tabriz University of Medical Sciences as a general medical student and graduated from this university with a doctorate in medicine in 1384. After completing the general medical course in 2004, I went to the holy military service. After completing my military service in 1386, I was accepted as a general surgery assistant at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. During my studies, due to my interest in research, I was selected as the top researcher of the university by publishing ten articles in prestigious journals, and finally, in 1390, after passing the specialized board exam, I became a general surgeon from the University of Sciences. I graduated from Tabriz medicine. After the end of the general surgery course, I worked for 18 months in the specially deprived area of Kalibar, which coincided with the terrible earthquake of Varzeghan. In 1392, after receiving admission from Sapienza University of Rome, I went to Italy to participate in the fellowship course of microvascular surgeries for oncoplastic breast reconstruction. After returning to Iran, I was engaged in treatment and education in the surgery department of Imam Khomeini Hospital of Tehran University of Medical Sciences for one year. After a year of specialized activity in the field of breast oncoplastic surgery, I entered the subspecialty course of plastic surgery at Shahid Beheshti University. For me, the interest in research and presenting new solutions was a good motivation to go through scientific degrees. Considering the new ideas I have and the new research projects I am working on, I hope I can be useful for the dear people of Islamic Iran.
