Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is called nose cosmetic surgery. It is one of the most common ways of shaping the nose, which consists of two words, Reno and Plastic. Reno means nose and plastic means to change the shape, which is done with the aim of correcting and beautifying various defects of the nose, including the following:
- Congenital defect
- Respiratory problems
- Large nose size
- Drooping tip of the nose or low lip-nasal angle
- Deviation of the nasal septum
- Nasal septum dislocation
- Deformities after surgery
Rhinoplasty (nose surgery) which is performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia is performed in two ways, open or closed. The choice of each of the methods is made by the plastic surgeon and based on the patient's condition. In open rhinoplasty, a gap (scar) is created in the tissue between the two nostrils. The surgeon can directly observe the upper bones and cartilages of the nose. By using it, the required changes are made on the nose. In closed rhinoplasty, the slits created are completely inside the nose. Open surgery usually takes longer than closed surgery. In rhinoplasty surgery, inflammation and bruising of the skin is more because the skin is completely removed from the nose. To read more about rhinoplasty and hernia rhinoplasty, click on the link.
Meat rhinoplasty
A fleshy nose is usually referred to as a nose where the lower part of the nose has thick skin and is full of fat. This procedure is performed for people who have fleshy and wide noses and it causes embarrassment and a decrease in self-confidence. This model of nose has wide cartilages, elastic connective tissue, thick skin and fat nose tip. Compared to bony noses, this nose model has weak and fragile cartilages, therefore, meat nose surgery has a very dangerous risk. Due to the presence of male sex hormones and their oily skin, fleshy nose is the most common nose model in men. This operation is actually a subset of rhinoplasty surgery.
Bone rhinoplasty
Bony nose is pyramidal and the nose skin of these people is thinner than fleshy noses. One of the most important factors in creating better results in a bony nose is having a highly flexible nasal structure in this type of nose, which allows the surgeon to easily make changes to the nose. Another factor affecting the results of surgery is the type of skin of the nose. Also, most men are forced to do this operation for various reasons, including broken and deviated nose. One of the most important issues in this surgery is not to lose the shape and shape of the male nose (doll and female shape) after male rhinoplasty. It is better to have this surgery performed by a skilled and expert plastic surgeon to preserve the appearance of a male nose.
Secondary rhinoplasty (reconstructive nose)
Rhinoplasty surgery is used for those who are not satisfied with their first rhinoplasty surgery and according to the expert surgeon’s opinion, they need a new nose surgery to solve breathing problems or nose appearance. The surgical procedures are more difficult than the initial surgery, and for this reason, a high fee must be paid to perform this operation again. There are various reasons for Qord’s dissatisfaction with rhinoplasty, and one of the most important ones can be thick skin and many problems in the person’s nose before the operation. All these reasons are an excuse to solve the lack of work and lack of sufficient experience and skill of the surgeon in pre-operative evaluations and surgical procedures. This surgery is considered one of the most difficult operations in the plastic surgery sub-set. So by choosing the best nose surgeon who has enough experience and skill in this field, prevent these things from happening.
Skin type in rhinoplasty surgery
The most important feature of the skin in nose surgery is its thickness. The most suitable skin for rhinoplasty is skin with medium thickness, healthy and smooth color. The skin is very important in changing the shape of the skeleton and hiding the nose. Therefore, cosmetic surgeons work more on nasal ossification in order to reconstruct and eliminate defects such as nasal hump and as a result to achieve the results of the operation. The skin of the nose is rarely operated during surgery, so the type of skin can act as one of the most effective main factors in forming a new nose shape. In addition to the thickness of the skin, being badly scarred and elastic are also important and effective factors in rhinoplasty surgery.
Age of rhinoplasty surgery
The right age for rhinoplasty is at least 18 years old when the person has reached full maturity and the facial bones have been completed. Of course, due to the fact that body repair is done slowly after the age of 60 and the risk of complications increases, rhinoplasty is not recommended after this age.
Duration of rhinoplasty surgery:
2 to 3 hours
The recovery period of rhinoplasty surgery:
4 to 5 days
The time required to improve the swelling and the final observation of the result of the operation:
1 year after surgery
